Disclaimer

The following quizzes come from a dating site. However, that is not how I found them. Unless, of course, scandal makes you find this blog more intriguing. In that case, yes, I troll dating sites. Also, I used a "clear cream" from BALCO before typing in my answers to the country quiz.

Observation Point

Carter and me at Observation Point in Zion National Park.
.
We had originally planned a hike to the Subway, but rain clouds made that trip unwise.
.
So instead, we hiked 8 miles and gained over 2000 feet to get a view from above the valley.
.
Here's the crew that made the trip.

Kanarra Creek

We took some of the young men on a hike up Kanarra Creek.
.
Some places were a little tricky to navigate, but some ladders and ropes left by others eased the way.
.
I took Carter along. This trip is what I consider "The Narrows Lite." It's about as fun as the narrows, but easier to get to, less crowded, and a little shorter.
.
Here we are on top of the second waterfall.
.
We even found a few natural slides.
.
I wasn't going to miss out on the fun.
.
So the invitation to visit us in St. George still stands. We'd love to take any one of our friends and family around the area to see the beauties of the region. We'll even treat you to dinner if you have to drive more than 200 miles to reach us.
